About Us
Hi, I'm Flo...

I’m the owner of Love, Suds & Pups; a fully qualified and insured grooming stylist. I’ve been enamoured with animals since being a child, caring for many wonderful pets throughout the years - by my side currently is my lovely Tabby cat Vera and my gentle giant of a Labrador/Visla mix Max. As a very caring and calm person, my promise is that I’ll use my skills and expertise to treat your dog with the kindness and patience they deserve and guide them through the grooming process in a way that leaves them feeling confident, clean and classy!
I have always known that I wanted to work with animals since being very young, and began with achieving a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Management in 2018. My dog grooming journey began 2 years ago when I became an Assistant Stylist and went on to secure my Level 2 Certificate for Grooming Assistants. I gained a lot of experience very quickly working in busy salons, taking both my own bath and dry appointments and prepping dogs for the stylists to complete. I have more recently acquired the CPG stylist qualification whilst training with Sue Oliver's Dog Grooming Studio, as well as completing a Canine First Aid qualification. I have been fortunate enough to work with a huge range of dog breeds, learning about how to properly care for each coat type, as well as utilising many different grooming techniques and loving every minute of it.
The basis of my work is my love for dogs; getting to open my own grooming spa has enabled me to offer the treatments that truly pamper your pooch, putting all the focus on your pet and their relaxation. I use only the highest quality products that are made from natural ingredients and love being able to give every dog I see some TLC (treats, love and cuddles!). I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your four-legged friend and before anything else, I make sure the dogs in my care feel safe, loved and heard.
The Spa
Based in Little Eaton, Love, Suds & Pups is run from a newly converted and fully fit for purpose spa room inside my home - this means I can offer a true 1 to 1, relaxed and quiet experience without the stress of unknown dogs or other sensory distractions. Each and every dog I groom, regardless of size or temperament, is cared for as if they were my own.
The spa room is fitted with state of the art facilities that are suitable for all breeds. The hydraulic table can be fully lowered to the ground, making it easy for all breeds to hop on and off when needed, and our specialised grooming bath is fully customisable for both extra small and extra large dogs.
All of the equipment I use, from brushes to clippers, are top of the line professional quality and cleaned and disinfected between each appointment. Depending on your dog’s coat, I have a range of different naturally formulated shampoos to be chosen from, as well as some delightfully scented coat sprays, conditioner, facial treatments, paw care products and even dog-safe nail polish pens! Sensitive skin? No problem. I have gentle hypoallergenic shampoo available for dogs that need it and have experience using medically prescribed products such as Malaceb (provided by the pet parent).
